How is a Citizens' Jury Planned?
A. Before the Event:
1. First of all, a project manager, staff, advisory committee and working group are determined.
2. Criteria are determined and selections are made to select the members of the jury.
3. The responsibility of the jury is determined and the agenda is set.
4. Expert criteria are created, experts and moderators are determined.
5. Logistics and media connections are established
B. During the Event:
1. Introduction is made
2. Experts and experts make their presentations on the subject and a meeting is held where the members of the jury criticize the decisions by asking questions. (2 moderators facilitate the process)
3. The jury process is constantly written and the decisions are drafted together with the reasons.
C. After the event:
1. The result of the negotiation is announced orally in a press release.
2. The final report of the jury is prepared and presented to the public.
